About This Course
In this biweekly course for upper intermediate students we will analyze and discuss Arabic texts with a focus on vocabulary acquisition.
The Literature section will read selections from Arabic Grammar in Context and meet during weeks 1, 3, 5 + 7 of our Fall 1 term.
The News section will read selections from The News in MSA and meet during weeks 2, 4, 6 + 8 of our Fall 1 term.
Arabic News & Literature is taught by Nasser Riyadh.
Classes will meet online via Zoom. Hours are shown in Pacific Time.
If you are new to Qalam, please contact us before enrolling and read our policies. All students must be at least 18 years of age.
